The revised bylaws state that “Any individual who supports
the purpose and goals of the Marys River Watershed Council and who lives
in, works in, plays in, derives benefit from, or is affected by the
watershed and its resources may be a member. A person shall become a
member of the Council by presenting such intent in writing...”
If you have previously signed a membership form, you will continue to
be recognized as a member, unless you notify us that you would like
to be removed from membership.
If you have not signed a membership form (or are unsure if you have
or not), you need only sign the form below and return it to us by email
or mail, or complete the membership form at any Council meeting.
Member Rights and Responsibilities
“Members shall elect the Board of Directors and approve changes
in the Council’s bylaws. Members are encouraged to participate
on Council committees or in other Council activities. Members shall
receive regular communications from the Council.”
Membership Form
I support the purposes of the Marys River Watershed Council “to promote broad and informed public participation in ecologically and economically sound sustainability and improvement of natural resources and environmental quality in the Marys River Watershed” and would like to be a member of the organization.
