Marys River Watershed Council
MRWC MEETING

Meeting notes: December 2002

Diana Sharps, Chuck Knoll and Donna Schmitz from Benton County and Benton Soil and Water Conservation District presented the fish passage data collection that Diana Sharps has been working on over the past year. This data brings together multiple data sources of fish passage barriers, from many county state and federal agencies into one database. The Marys River Fish Passage committee requested this work and the project was initiated and implemented by Benton SWCD and Benton County. Data will be used by Benton County to plan culvert replacements and removal of fish passage barriers, and by Benton SWCD in their work with landowners, as well as in the MRWC action planning efforts. Complete minutes are not available at this time, but check website for posting or contact Sandra Coveny if you want them mailed to you when they are received.
