Come to our Winter Quarterly Meeting!
Wednesday, January 25th, 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Corvallis-Benton Public Library, Large Meeting Room
The MRWC hosts at least four meetings each year. For the winter meeting, Come hear fish biologist Steve Trask speak about beaver biology, river history, and the role beavers play in stream restoration. Trask is working with watershed councils and landowners to improve habitat conditions for beaver and coho salmon. Trask, of BioSurveys LLC, has designed river restoration projects focused on coho and cutthroat trout habitat for more than 25 years. He will describe the changes he has seen in our landscapes and beaver dam abundance over time.
